APA Scholarship

The Appalachian Pipeliners Association’s (APA) mission is to help grow and support the pipeline industry in the northeastern United States.  The APA supports this mission in various ways, including providing scholarships to support the postsecondary educational opportunities of the APA’s general membership.  Funds for the scholarships are raised from the APA’s membership fees, donations and outings throughout the year.  A portion of the funds are then granted by the APA’s Board of Directors (BOD) for annual scholarship usage.

During the APA’s May 2017 Dinner Speaker meeting, the APA completed its first scholarship award presentation.  During the presentation, $4,000 scholarships were awarded to four (4) deserving undergraduate/graduate students.  Pictures from this year’s scholarship award presentation and details about the scholarship recipients can be seen below.

The APA Scholarship Committee (ASC) is currently preparing the 2018 APA Scholarship Application Packet, which will be available for download from this site by November 1st, 2017.  The ASC will send an announcement to the APA’s general membership when the 2018 APA Scholarship Application Packet has been posted to this site.

Questions about the APA scholarship should be emailed to the ASC at support@appalachianpipeliners.org
